IP Address Range Objects

IP Address Range objects provide another method of printer deployment. To learn about printer deployments, see Printer Deployments. IP Address Ranges are also used to implement the Cache Drivers feature, which localizes the driver, profile, and client files for remote areas with low bandwidth. See Cache Drivers to learn more.

The steps below guide you through creating an IP Address Range object in the Admin Console.

Create an IP Address Range Object

  1. In the Admin Console, select the folder where you're adding the object.
  2. Select the New button in the tree structure.
  3. Select IP Address Range option.

  4. Enter a unique name and the range for the IP Address Range.

  5. Select Add.

The created IP Address Range displays in the folder.
