Simplified Scanning Report
The Simplified Scanning report is a great tool to help with auditing the amount of scanning done in your environment, checking usage patterns, and tracking for charge-back purposes.
Overview
Navigate to this report in the Admin Console by going to Reports Print Job Records. Select the drop-down in the Report Types section and select Simplified Scanning.
Report Options
The report options include Start/End Date and Time, Printer Name, Document Name, and Destination.
After you've selected the Report Options variable(s), click Run Report.
Report Content
The Print Job Records/Simplified Scanning report can provide many different types of data. The data that appears in the reports comes from the PrinterLogic database.
The Data Displayed is:
- Date - Date the scan was made.
- Time - Time the scan was made.
- User Name - User that performed the scan.
- Printer Name - Name of the printer used as defined in the Tree View.
- Job Type - Whether it was a Scan to Email, Scan to Cloud, etc. (Example: Email, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.)
- Document Name - Name of the document scanned (The name showing will depend on options set in Tools Settings Printing).
- Paper Size - Paper size printed to (Example: Letter, Legal, A4, etc.).
- Pages - How many pages were included in the scan.
- Destination - Email or folder location the scan was sent to.
